Specification HONDA ATF HEVF – is the official Honda Motor Co. standard for transmission fluids, intended exclusively for automatic gearboxes, including traditional AT and CVT, installed in gasoline, hybrid and diesel Honda and Acura models. Fluid that meets HEVF provides stable viscosity over a wide temperature range, optimal heat resistance and oxidation protection, allowing precise shift performance and minimizing wear of friction elements, clutches and seals. The specification calls for a low mineral additive content, making it compatible with DPF systems and catalytic converters, although this is not a primary requirement. HEVF is suitable for most modern Honda models such as Accord, Civic, CR‑V, Insight and Acura TLX, as well as older automatic transmissions that previously used ATF DW‑1, providing a seamless transition to the newer standard without compromising warranty requirements.
