FORD XL-12

Specification FORD XL‑12 (often referred to as MERCON XL‑12) is Ford's official standard for automatic transmission fluids, which sets requirements for viscosity, oxidation resistance, wear protection, and controlled friction characteristics needed for smooth gear shifts and long‑lasting operation of rotating components.
