Specification FORD WSS‑M2C 936A is Ford’s official standard for automatic transmission fluids, developed taking into account requirements for viscosity, thermal stability, oxidation resistance and wear protection under high‑load conditions. It is intended for a wide range of gasoline and diesel engines equipped with automatic gearboxes 6R140, 6R80, 6R124 and similar, including passenger and commercial models where stable friction characteristics and long‑term operation at high temperatures are required. WSS‑M2C 936A guarantees compatibility with all original Ford seals and valves, and it does not contain sulfate‑based additives (SAPS), allowing safe operation of diesel particulate filter (DPF) systems.
