FORD M2C922-A1

Specification FORD M2C922‑A1 (WSS‑M2C922‑A) is Ford’s official standard for automatic transmission fluids, which defines requirements for viscosity, thermal stability, oxidation resistance, wear protection, and compatibility with friction materials and torque converters. It is intended for Ford passenger and commercial vehicles with gasoline and diesel engines equipped with automatic gearboxes such as 6R, 6F, 6R140, 6R80 and similar, including some hybrid models. The specification does not impose special requirements for SAPS or DPF, so oils that meet M2C922‑A1 are safely used in systems with catalytic converters and particulate filters. Using oil approved under M2C922‑A1 ensures stable torque transmission, minimizes the risk of overheating, and extends transmission service life, which is important both for drivers and for workshop technicians. On xenum.ua, in the “Type” filter select “FORD”, and you will see products that have been tested to this standard, including XENUM XA‑TRAN NIPPON ATF transmission oil.
