Specification FORD 924‑A (WSS‑M2C924‑A) is the official Ford standard for automatic transmission gear oils, which defines the requirements for viscosity, oxidation stability, wear protection and precise friction characteristics required for electronic control and torque converter operation. It is intended for Ford gasoline and diesel engines with automatic transmissions such as 6R, 6R140, 6R80, 6R120 and similar, including passenger cars and light trucks.
