DTFR 38B100

Specification DTFR 38B100 is a technical standard developed by DAF Trucks for lubricants used in their heavy diesel engines. The requirements include viscosity in the 15W‑40 range (or equivalent), a high HTHS rating (≥ 3.5 cP), oxidation stability, TBN ≥ 2.5 mg KOH/g and low SAPS content, which ensures compatibility with emission after‑treatment systems (DPF, SCR) and protection of the catalytic converter. The specification is targeted at turbocharged diesel engines of medium and heavy categories DAF CF, XF, XG, including Euro 6 models, operating under increased loads and harsh service conditions. Oils that meet DTFR 38B100 provide reduced cylinder wear, stable operation at elevated pressures and fuel economy, while remaining compatible with previous requirements DTFR 15B110, DTFR 15C100 and DTFR 13C100. On xenum.ua you will find two products that have been approved under this specification, allowing technicians to quickly select the correct lubricant for DAF fleets.
