DTFR 15C100

The DTFR 15C100 specification, developed by DAF Trucks, defines the requirements for engine oils for their medium‑ and heavy‑duty diesel engines, particularly for the 15C series (e.g., DAF 15 C, 15 C‑110). The oil must have a viscosity of 15 W‑40, high oxidation stability, excellent wear and corrosion protection, and also effectively disperse soot, ensuring long‑lasting operation under high loads and severe service conditions. The specification provides compatibility with emission after‑treatment systems, including DPF and SCR, without increased SAPS content, allowing catalysts and particulate filters to remain effective.
