DTFR 140
Specification DTFR 140 is DAF Trucks’ technical requirement for engine oils, intended for their medium‑ and heavy‑duty diesel engines, including turbocharged 6‑ and 9‑cylinder blocks equipped with emission after‑treatment systems (DPF, SCR). Oils that meet DTFR 140 must have a viscosity corresponding to class 140 cSt at 100 °C, high oxidation stability, protection against corrosion and wear under high loads, and a low content of sulfated, aromatic and phosphorus compounds (SAPS) to prevent DPF fouling. The specification guarantees preservation of optimal turbocharger performance, support of fuel efficiency, and extension of engine service life under constant short trips and heavy load conditions. When selecting oil on xenum.ua, the DTFR 140 marking helps technicians quickly find DAF‑approved products that ensure compatibility with existing emission systems and meet the requirements of modern commercial fleets.
