DTFR 13C160

Specification DTFR 13C160 is a lubricant of ISO VG 160 class that meets the requirements of the DTFR 13C series developed by DAF Trucks for their heavy diesel engines of medium and heavy categories. Technically it provides high viscosity on cold start, oxidation stability up to 200 hours, wear and corrosion protection, as well as effective dissolution and prevention of deposits in the combustion chamber, which is important for turbocharged engines with after‑treatment systems (DPF, SCR) and low SAPS content. DTFR 13C160 is intended for DAF 13C engines, in particular the CF, XF, 95, 105 and 115 series, which operate under high loads and long oil‑change intervals. The oil is compatible with catalysts and soot particle filters, allowing the emission system to remain effective without risk of fouling. When necessary, products approved under previous versions DTFR 13C150 or DTFR 13C140 can be used, as they remain compatible, although DTFR 13C160 provides better thermal stability and protection at elevated temperatures.
