DEUTZ DQC‑III‑18 approval defines a motor oil with a viscosity of approximately 18 mm²/s at 40 °C, developed to provide high protection against wear, oxidation and corrosion in heavy-duty diesel engines operating over a wide range of loads and temperatures. It is used in Deutz engines and related MAN models installed in trucks, agricultural machinery, construction equipment and generator sets. The specification includes compatibility with exhaust after‑treatment systems (DPF, catalysts) and low SAPS content, allowing compliance with environmental standards E4‑E11.
