DODGE CVTF+4
The DODGE CVTF+4 specification is the official approval of transmission fluid for continuously variable (CVT) automatic gearboxes, developed by Stellantis for the Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep and Ram brands. The fluid must have stable viscosity over a wide temperature range (‑40 °C to +125 °C), high resistance to oxidation and thinning, and a specially selected friction coefficient that ensures smooth shifting and protects CVT belt pulleys from excessive wear. DODGE CVTF+4 is intended for gasoline and diesel engines, including turbocharged variants, installed in Dodge Grand Caravan, Charger, Journey models and their crossover equivalents, and guarantees compatibility with catalysts and exhaust after‑treatment systems. Although the specification does not impose special SAPS requirements, it meets the DPF protection requirements, making it suitable also for models equipped with soot filters. When selecting the XENUM XA‑TRAN CVT transmission oil bearing the DODGE CVTF+4 designation, the technician receives a product that fully complies with OEM requirements and provides long‑term gearbox reliability.
