Specification Chrysler Dodge Mopar AS68RC (Type IV) – this is the official approval of transmission oil for Stellantis automatic gearboxes, developed for Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram models with 8‑ and 9‑speed automatic transmissions, including new V6, V8 and turbo‑diesel engines. AS68RC requires a synthetic base with high thermal resistance, viscosity stability at temperatures up to 150 °C, low oxidation level and special friction properties that ensure smooth shifting, gear and bearing protection, as well as compatibility with torque converters and electronic control systems. The specification does not include requirements for SAPS or DPF, therefore the oil is safe for engines with catalytic converters and emission after‑treatment systems.
