Caterpillar ECF-3

Caterpillar ECF‑3 certification – these are OEM requirements for engine oils designed for heavy-duty high-power diesel engines operating under high load in trucks, excavators, crane trucks and generators. Technically it requires high thermal stability, oxidation resistance, preservation of cylinder cleanliness and compatibility with after‑treatment systems (DPF) and catalysts, as well as low SAPS content (sulfated, aromatic and phosphorus compounds). The specification is targeted at Cat engine series C, C7, C9, C13, C15, C18, C20, C27, C32, C40, C44, C57 and C78, as well as other heavy diesel installations that need long‑term protection at extreme temperatures. Oils approved under ECF‑3 reduce fuel consumption, extend service intervals and protect against wear under high load. On Xenum.ua three products with this approval are presented – XENUM DIESEL POWER 10W40, 15W40 and SYNTH 10W40, which meet the E4‑E11 requirements.
