AISIN-WARNER JWS 3314

The AISIN‑WARNER JWS 3314 specification is a technical standard developed by the Japanese transmission manufacturer Aisin Warner for automatic transmissions (including conventional AT, CVT, and hybrid variants). The JWS 3314 requirements call for stable viscosity across a wide temperature range, high resistance to oxidation and wear, as well as optimized friction characteristics that provide smooth gear shifts and protection against excessive heating. The standard applies to gasoline and diesel engines, including those with turbocharging, as well as hybrid systems where the transmission operates in conjunction with an electric motor. Because JWS 3314 does not contain SAPS requirements, it is compatible with any post‑catalyst emission reduction systems (DPF) and catalysts used in modern engines. When selecting a transmission oil marked JWS 3314, technicians and drivers are guaranteed that the product meets Aisin’s original specifications and will ensure the durability and reliability of the transmission.
