ACEA E8
ACEA E8 is a specification developed by the European Association of Engine Manufacturers for high‑performance diesel engines of heavy‑duty vehicles, including trucks and buses, that operate under high load and high torque. Oils that meet E8 must provide excellent wear protection, high oxidation stability, sufficient viscosity across a wide temperature range, and effective detergency to prevent carbon deposits in the combustion chamber. The specification calls for compatibility with exhaust after‑treatment systems, notably DPF and SCR, without a low‑SAPS requirement, making it suitable for engines that do not require low‑SAPS formulas. If your engine is already approved to ACEA E8, newer standards such as ACEE E9 remain backward compatible, offering an additional low‑SAPS characteristic. By choosing XENUM oil marked ACEA E8, you receive a product that has undergone rigorous testing for wear protection, stability and compatibility with modern exhaust cleaning systems.
