ACEA C5

ACEA C5 is a modern standard for gasoline engines with direct injection, turbocharging and exhaust after‑treatment systems (catalysts, DPF). Technically it requires a low SAPS content (sulfated, aromatic and phosphorus compounds), provides excellent oxidation stability, wear protection and deposit control, and also allows extended oil change intervals thanks to high thermal stability. The specification is targeted at the latest gasoline engines of the VAG‑group, Volvo, as well as other GDI systems, including mild hybrids, where fuel economy and compatibility with catalysts and DPF are important. If your engine already meets ACEA C5, it will also run safely with oils approved under ACEA C6, which offer even higher protective performance without changing the SAPS requirements. When choosing XENUM products, such as PRO‑LL 0W20 or PRO‑V 0W20, you receive an oil that fully complies with this European standard, providing an optimal balance between performance, durability and environmental friendliness.
