ACEA C4

ACEA C4 is a modern European standard that sets requirements for viscosity, oxidation resistance, wear protection and deposit control in gasoline and light‑duty diesel engines, including direct‑injection and turbocharging technologies. Oils that meet C4 have a low content of sulfate, aromatic and phosphorus compounds (low‑SAPS), ensuring compatibility with exhaust after‑treatment systems, in particular DPFs and catalysts, without the risk of rapid fouling.
