Low saps

"Low saps" means that the oil contains a reduced amount of sulfated ash, phosphorus, and sulfur (SAPS). This formula minimizes deposit formation in after‑treatment systems, especially catalysts and particulate filters, thereby increasing their efficiency and extending engine service life. Choose oil marked Low saps when the manufacturer requires a low SAPS level (e.g., for gasoline engines with direct injection or diesel engines with DPF). This type of oil is suitable for modern vehicles where low emissions and protection of after‑treatment systems are important.
