Volume 4 L means that the package contains four liters of motor oil. This volume is optimal for most passenger cars, as the typical oil pan and filter capacity ranges from 3.5 to 5 L, allowing the system to be fully filled without excess leftovers. By choosing 4 L, you get a sufficient amount of oil for one service, including filter replacement, and the convenient package size is easy to store. For trucks or large engines that require more than 5 L, larger packages should be considered, and for small motorcycles – 1‑2 L.
