ACEA C4

ACEA C4 is a motor oil category defined by the European Automobile Manufacturers Association (ACEA) for gasoline engines with high requirements for wear protection and fuel economy. Oils that meet the C4 class have high oxidation resistance, provide excellent protection against carbon deposit formation, and maintain stable viscosity over a wide temperature range. They are recommended for modern gasoline engines with turbocharging, direct fuel injection, and start‑stop systems, where low emissions and long service intervals are important. When selecting oil, be sure that your vehicle manufacturer specifies compatibility with ACEA C4, and use it within the recommended service intervals.
