JASO DH-1

JASO DH‑1 is a standard of the Japanese Automotive Association (JASO) that defines the requirements for motor oils for two‑stroke engines. Manufacturers worldwide, including many motorcycle and garden equipment brands, specify this approval in their technical specifications, guaranteeing compatibility and proper engine operation. When selecting oil, you should look for the JASO DH‑1 label if it is mentioned in the manual, as it provides optimal viscosity, reduced smoke and wear protection. This approval is not suitable for four‑stroke engines – other classes such as JASO MA or API SN are required.
