BMW Longlife‑04 is a specific manufacturer approval that confirms that the engine oil meets BMW requirements for gasoline and diesel engines operating over a wide temperature range and under high loads. Oil with this specification provides wear protection, oxidation stability and maintains the cleanliness of the injection system for up to 15,000 km or 12 months. Choose it when your vehicle requires BMW approval or when the service book specifies this approval. Not suitable for engines that require other OEM‑standards, such as VW 504 / 507 or Mercedes MB‑Approval 229.5.
